How do I set up my security code for the first time?

First, tap the keypad to wake it up and enter the factory preset code (1-5-9-#) to unlock in DEFAULT MODE. Then press and release the reset button inside the safe door (you'll hear 2 beeps and see a yellow light). While the yellow light is illuminated, enter your new 3-8 digit security code followed by [*]. Finally, confirm the code by entering it again followed by (#) while the door is still open—you'll hear 2 beeps and see a green light if successful.
