What should I do if the charger refuses to light or shows a problem pattern?

The compatible charger will not charge a faulty battery pack and will indicate this by refusing to light or displaying a problem pack or charger blink pattern. This could also mean a problem with the charger itself. If the charger indicates a problem, take the charger and battery pack to be tested at an authorized service center. (Page 10)
