Why is the pump making an unusual noise?

An unusual pump noise is most commonly caused by no water in the reservoir, the water reservoir not being correctly positioned, or the red plug from the packaging still being inserted at the base of the reservoir. Fill the water reservoir, ensure it is firmly placed into the back of the unit, and check that the red plug has been removed. (Page 22)
