Turn the upper filter assembly ¼ turn counterclockwise and lift it out, then gently pull apart the upper filter assembly. Rinse the filter under running water until most soils are removed, using a soft brush if needed for hard-to-remove soils or calcium deposits from hard water. Finally, reinstall the filter.
