What type of ductwork should I use to vent the dryer?

Use only rigid metal or flexible metal 4-inch diameter ductwork inside the dryer cabinet or for exhausting to the outside. Do not use plastic or other combustible ductwork, as this can cause a fire. Use the shortest length possible and avoid crushing or collapsing the duct. (Page 3, 11)
