How do I run the Clean Washer cycle to maintain my washer?

Run the Clean Washer cycle at least once per month or every 30 wash cycles, whichever comes first, using either an affresh® Washer Cleaner tablet placed in the empty washer basket or 1 cup (236 mL) of liquid chlorine bleach added to the bleach compartment. Do not place any garments or other items in the washer during this cycle, and do not add any detergent or other chemicals. For best results, do not interrupt the cycle; if you must stop it, run a Rinse & Spin cycle afterward to rinse the cleaner from the washer. (Page 13)
