What does the F8E6 error code mean and how do I resolve it?

The F8E6 error code appears when the washer lid has been left open for more than 10 minutes during a cycle, causing the water to pump out and the cycle to reset. To resolve it, close the lid and touch the Power button to clear the display. To avoid this error, do not leave the lid open for more than 10 minutes while the washer is in use. (Pages 12, 19)
