How often should I run the Clean Washer cycle, and how do I do it?

You should run the Clean Washer cycle at least once per month or every 30 wash cycles, whichever comes first, to control the buildup of soils and detergent. You can use either an affresh® Washer Cleaner tablet placed in the bottom of the empty washer basket, or 1 cup (236 mL) of liquid chlorine bleach added to the bleach compartment — do not add detergent or other chemicals during this cycle. The cycle should not be interrupted; if it must be stopped, run a Rinse & Spin cycle afterward to rinse the cleaner from the washer.
