How do I unlock the washer door if it won't open?

Press and hold CANCEL/DRAIN for 3 seconds to manually unlock the door; it will take approximately 1 minute for the door to unlock. If water remains in the washer, select DRAIN/SPIN to remove it first, as the door will unlock at the end of the drain cycle. If an error code is displayed, switch the knob or press and hold START to exit the failure mode, then wait for the door to unlock.
