How do I clean the door seal if I notice stains?

Open the washer door, pull back the gray-colored seal to inspect all areas, and if stains are found, mix a dilute solution of 3/4 cup of liquid chlorine bleach with 1 gallon of warm tap water. Wipe the seal area with a damp cloth using this solution, let it stand 5 minutes, then wipe thoroughly with a dry cloth and leave the door open to air dry. Wear rubber gloves when cleaning for prolonged periods. (Page 17)
