How do I winterize my washer if I need to store it in freezing temperatures?

First, shut off both water faucets and disconnect and drain the water inlet hoses. Then put 1 qt. (1 L) of R.V.-type antifreeze in the washer drum and run the washer on the NORMAL cycle for about 2 minutes to mix the antifreeze with remaining water. Finally, unplug the washer or disconnect power.
