How often should I run the Clean Washer cycle, and how do I do it?

The Clean Washer cycle should be performed at a minimum once per month or every 30 wash cycles, whichever occurs sooner. You can use either an affresh Washer Cleaner tablet placed directly in the washer drum, or 1 cup (236 mL) of liquid chlorine bleach added to the bleach compartment. Do not add any detergent or other chemicals during this procedure, and do not place garments in the washer during this cycle. (Page 16)
