Why is my ice maker not producing ice?

Check whether the wire shutoff arm is in the OFF position, whether the water line shutoff valve is turned on, and whether the freezer is cold enough to produce ice. If the ice maker was just installed, wait 72 hours for full ice production to begin, and discard the first three batches of ice produced. A clogged or incorrectly installed water filter can also prevent ice production. (Page 10)
