How do I insert and remove drill bits?

To insert a bit, hold the rear half of the chuck with one hand and rotate the front half counterclockwise (viewed from the chuck end). Insert the bit completely and tighten firmly by holding the rear half and rotating the front half clockwise. Do not attempt to tighten bits by holding the front of the chuck and powering on the tool.
