What should I do if the LCD shows 'DESCALE'?

When the LCD shows 'DESCALE' (flashing), a descaling cycle is needed. Empty the tank and prepare a descale solution according to manufacturer's instructions. Pour the solution into the empty water tank, place the basket and carafe under the drip stop, and press SELECT button for 3 seconds to start the descaling cycle. The process takes approximately 15 minutes.
