How do I program the shot volume for 1 shot espresso?

Press and hold the ON/OFF button for 4 seconds until the ON/OFF and READY lights flash together. Insert a one cup filter basket into the portafilter, fill with coffee grounds, tamp, and place in the group head. Turn the dial to the 1 SHOT position and the espresso will start to pour. When you reach your desired volume, return the dial to the vertical READY position. The new 1 shot volume has been programmed and the machine returns to ready state. You must start programming within 1 minute of entering the programming mode. (Page 16)
