Can I control the AM11 without the remote control?

Yes, you can press the Standby button on the machine to turn it ON or OFF, and press and hold the Standby button to adjust airflow, which will increase to a maximum before decreasing. However, the oscillation function and sleep timer cannot be operated without the remote control. (Page 8)
