How do I replace the batteries in the remote control?

First switch OFF and unplug the machine. Then unscrew the battery compartment on the remote control, loosen the base and pull to remove the old battery. Install a new CR 2032 type battery following the battery manufacturer's instructions, making sure not to install it backwards.
