Error Code Green LED on (hot or cold battery)

Hot battery pack or battery pack is out of or below normal temperature range. The charger has detected an abnormal battery temperature condition.

? What Causes This

Battery pack was used continuously and became hot, or ambient temperature is outside the optimal charging range (below 50°F or above 100°F).

If battery is hot, let it cool for approximately 30 minutes before recharging.
If battery is cold, allow it to reach normal room temperature (50°F to 100°F).
Reinsert battery pack into charger.
If green LED continues to remain on after cooling/warming, return battery pack to nearest Sears Service Center.
