The jumper clamps are connected with incorrect polarity to the battery terminals.
? What Causes This
Positive and negative clamps connected to opposite battery terminals.
✓ How to Fix It
- Disconnect the clamps immediately from the battery.
- Reconnect the clamps with correct polarity - red clamp to positive terminal, black clamp to negative terminal (or chassis for negative-grounded systems).
- Turn Jump Starter Power Switch back on.
