Error Code Overload or Short Circuit in USB Ports

USB ports have detected an overload condition or short circuit. The USB Power/Fault Indicators will flash blue and the LCD screen will continuously display the Fault Icon.

Connected device is drawing excessive current, incompatible with USB output specifications, or there is a short circuit in the connected device.

  1. Disconnect the USB-powered device immediately.
  2. Press the USB Power Button to turn off the USB ports.
  3. Allow the unit to cool down for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Verify the connected device is compatible with the USB output (5V, 3.1A total).
  5. Attempt to use USB ports again with a different device.
