? What Causes This

Power adapter or outlet issue, incorrectly connected power supply or faulty unit.

Ensure the power cord and the power adapter are properly connected to both the gateway's rear panel POWER port and a working electrical outlet.
Check if the power outlet is functioning correctly by plugging in another device.
If an external surge protector/UPS is used, make sure it is turned on.
