? What Causes This

Poor ventilation around gateway, excessive ambient temperature, or obstruction that prevents proper airflow.

Move the device to a well-ventilated area and ensure it is not placed in a tight enclosure.
Check there are at least two inches of clearance on all sides (except bottom) for good air circulation.
If possible, reduce ambient temperature around the gateway.
