Can I cut off excess tether strap?
No, you must not cut off excess tether strap after adjusting it. If you do, it may not be long enough to use in another vehicle. Instead, tightly roll up the excess tether strap and secure it with a rubber band to avoid strangulation hazards. (Page 44)
