How do I fix spots and film on glasses and flatware?

Use Jet-Dry® rinse agent to remove spots and prevent new film buildup. To remove stubborn pre-existing film, run the longest cycle without detergent or metal utensils, and after 18–22 minutes pour 2 cups of white vinegar into the bottom of the dishwasher and allow the cycle to complete. If vinegar doesn't work, repeat the process using 1/4 cup of citric acid crystals instead. (Page 13)
