What should I load in the upper rack of my dishwasher?
The upper rack is for glasses, cups and saucers, with cups and glasses fitting best along the sides. It is also a secure place for dishwasher-safe plastics and good for all kinds of odd-shaped utensils. Saucepans and mixing bowls should be placed face down.
