How do I fill the water tank for the first time?

Before filling with water for the first time, remove one demineralization cartridge from the packaging and soak it in water for 10 minutes. Then remove the tank cover and fill with clean, cool water or distilled water (if in an area with hard water) until the water level reaches the MAX fill line. Do not fill with warm or hot water. Add the soaked demineralization cartridge to the water tank and replace the tank cover.
