What does it mean when the Clean indicator light turns red?

The red Clean LED indicates that the transducer/ultrasonic membrane needs to be cleaned to remove water mineral deposits. Failure to clean it may cause reduced or no mist output. After cleaning, press and hold the clean indicator/reset button until the red LED turns off.
