What is the proper way to maintain the humidifier during storage?

Before storing, clean the water tank, water reservoir, float, and transducer/ultrasonic membrane with a 50/50 white vinegar and water solution, then rinse and let all parts dry completely. Clean the oil tray with a soft, damp cloth and remove the essential oil pad. After storing, rinse the tank with water prior to operating. (Page 10)
