What is covered under the HP Deskjet F4200 warranty, and for how long?

The printer itself is covered by a 1-year limited warranty, software media is covered for 90 days, and print cartridges are covered until the HP ink is depleted or the end-of-warranty date on the cartridge is reached, whichever comes first. The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship resulting from normal use, but does not cover damage caused by improper maintenance, unauthorized modification, or the use of non-HP or refilled cartridges.
