What should I do to prepare the washing machine if it will be stored in freezing temperatures?

Turn off the water supply tap, disconnect hoses from the water supply, and drain the water from the hoses. Add 1 gallon (3.8L) of non-toxic recreational vehicle (RV) antifreeze into an empty wash drum, then run a spin cycle for 1 minute to drain out the water. Unplug the power cord, dry the drum interior, remove and dry the dispenser drawer, and store the washer upright. When resuming use after storage, run an empty wash cycle with detergent to remove the antifreeze. (Page 22)
