How often should I clean the dryer's exhaust vent system?

Lint should be removed from the exhaust vent and from inside the dryer cabinet at least every 2 years, or more often depending on usage. Cleaning inside the dryer cabinet should be done by a qualified appliance servicer. Maintaining good airflow reduces drying times and improves energy efficiency. (Page 13)
