Why are my clothes taking too long to dry?

Check if the lint screen is clogged with lint and clean it before each load. The exhaust vent or outside exhaust hood may be clogged with lint, restricting air movement—hold your hand under the outside exhaust hood to check for air movement. Verify the exhaust vent is not too long or has too many turns, and confirm it is 4 inches in diameter. If the Energy Saver option is on, turn it off for optimal drying times. The dryer may also not be level, or the load may be too large and heavy.
