Why is my dryer not producing any heat?

The most likely cause is a blown household fuse or tripped circuit breaker — electric dryers use two household fuses or circuit breakers, and the drum may still turn without heat. You should replace both fuses or reset the circuit breaker, and if the problem continues, call a qualified electrician. For gas dryers, also check that the supply line valve is open. (Page 9)
