How do I connect the valve wires to my timer?

Strip 1/2 inch of plastic insulation from each wire end. Connect one wire from each valve to a single 'Common' sprinkler wire (usually white), and connect the remaining wire from each valve to a separate colored sprinkler wire. All wires should be joined using wire nuts, solder, and/or vinyl tape, and in wet environments like valve boxes, use Orbit Grease Caps to prevent corrosion (Page 6).
