Choose a location near a power source or electrical outlet, away from direct sunlight if possible, with operating temperatures between 32° and 158° Fahrenheit. Ensure at least 9 inches of space to the left of the timer box for the door to swing open, and locate it where you have easy access to sprinkler wires from your valves. If mounting outdoors, close the compartment door to protect the timer from weather damage (Page 5).
