What should I do if my washer won't drain properly or displays a 5E error?

We recommend cleaning the debris filter when water does not drain well or the 5E error message is displayed. If error code 5E appears, turn off the unit for 10 seconds and turn it on again, select the Spin Only cycle, and press Start/Pause to drain the water. If it still does not drain, call for service.
