How do I add or remove a Z-Wave device from the XL824?

To add a Z-Wave device, navigate to Home Screen > Menu > Smart Home, select Add Device, and follow the device manufacturer's instructions to set the Z-Wave device into learn mode — you will have four minutes to complete this. To remove a device, select Remove Device from the same menu and follow the manufacturer's instructions to set the device into learn mode, also within four minutes.
