How do I register the XL824 with Trane Home for remote access?

Go to www.tranehome.com or download the Trane Home mobile app from the Google Play Store or App Store and create an account. From the mobile app Dashboard, select the Menu icon, then Connect New Device, select your thermostat model, and the app will generate a Pin Code. Return to the XL824 control, enter the Pin Code, select Next, accept the License Agreement, and registration will be complete.
