What happens when I select Permanent Hold?

When you select Permanent Hold, the thermostat will maintain the current temperature setpoint indefinitely until you manually change it. The button will display ON, and the control will not follow the schedule. Select Permanent Hold again to turn it OFF and resume following the schedule.
