The drn or dr (F9E1) error code indicates the washer is taking too long to drain water, usually because the drain hose extends more than 4.5 inches (114 mm) into the standpipe. Check the drain hose installation using the drain hose form and secure it properly; ensure it is not taped over; lower the drain hose if the end is higher than 96 inches (2.4 m) above the floor; and remove any clogs from the drain hose.
