Why won't my washer start or fill with water?

Check that both hot and cold water faucets are fully turned on and that both inlet hoses are properly attached without kinks. Also ensure the power cord is plugged into a grounded 3-prong outlet, no extension cord is being used, and that no circuit breakers have been tripped or fuses blown. The lid must also be closed for the washer to run. (Page 8)
