How do I clean the drain pump filter?

First turn off the water tap and drain using the drain hose, then open the pump filter by turning it counterclockwise to remove any threads or objects. After cleaning, turn the pump filter clockwise and reinsert the drain plug to the original place. Be careful when draining if the water is hot, and allow it to cool down before cleaning.
