How do I safely prepare the dryer for moving or long-term storage?

For cord-connected dryers, unplug the power supply cord, ensure the leveling legs are secure in the dryer base, and use tape to secure the dryer door. For direct-wired dryers, disconnect power, disconnect the wiring, secure the leveling legs, and tape the door shut. Before storing, always clean the lint screen first. (Page 8)
