What should I do if my clothes are still coming out damp or drying times are too long?

The most common causes are a clogged lint screen, an overloaded drum, or a blocked or improperly sized exhaust vent. To check airflow, run the dryer for 5–10 minutes and hold your hand under the outside exhaust hood — if you feel no air movement, clean the exhaust system or replace the vent with 4-inch heavy metal vent material.
