How do I lock the keypad to prevent accidental changes to my radio settings?

Press and hold the Menu/Lock button until the lock icon displays on the screen. When locked, you can still turn the radio on and off, adjust volume, receive, transmit, send a call tone, and monitor channels, but all other functions are locked. To unlock, press and hold the Menu/Lock button until the lock icon no longer displays. (Page 1)
