What should I do if my radio battery is running low?

The radio battery icon on the display shows the charge level from full to empty. When the battery has only one segment left, the radio will chirp periodically or after you release the PTT button as a Low Battery Alert. You should charge or replace your batteries at this point. (Page 1)
