How do I safely remove AA batteries from my radio?

Turn the radio off, lift the battery cover latch on the back and remove the cover, then gently remove each AA battery individually by easing it out. Do not use sharp or conductive tools to remove the batteries. Reposition the battery cover and press down to secure it. (Page 1)
