How do I turn my Motorola EM1000 walkie talkie on and off?

Turn the power knob clockwise to turn the radio on and counterclockwise to turn it off. When you turn the radio on, it will chirp and briefly display all available feature icons, then show the current channel, code, and enabled features on the display screen. (Page 1)
