How do I prepare my washer for winter storage or freezing weather?

Shut off both water faucets and disconnect and drain the water inlet hoses. Then put 1 quart (1L) of R.V.-type antifreeze in the basket and run a wash cycle for about 30 seconds to mix the antifreeze with remaining water, then unplug the washer.
